Embraced Slumber

Embraced Slumber

The kisses and caresses of ecstasy
have worn him tired.

He exhaustedly falls far into
an after pleasure slumber
where I am held like a security blanket.

Holding me even tighter
he breathes my hair and smiles.

I try to hold on to the moment
but drowsiness captures me too
and I drift slowly away.
