Yellow Gym Shoe

Yellow Gym Shoe

Little yellow gym shoe,
traveling through our town,
stopping to buy a jelly roll,
no one else around.

Moving on to school,
back pack
in his arch,
listening always
to the teacher,
waiting to eat lunch.

At last the bell
is ringing,
his favorite sound,
running out the door
going to the
play ground.

Climbing up the
monkey bars,
the little shoe is king,
sitting on the top,
the shoe begins to sing.

A song of happiness
and laughter,
the yellow gym shoe
his melody of joy...
once again
the school bell rings.
