a classic story of love

she holds her dark red wine
he watches her from afar
she walks the other way
waiting for someone to come
someone to hold her hand and help her to
understand, that life isnt fair
and that love is real.
he tries so hard to ignore her
but her eyes seemed like the sun
they brightened up his whole day
even though she walked the other way.
she felt as if she was being watched
and yes, she was right.
and she turned to see who it was.
and his smile shined so bright in her eyes.
she stood, frozen like ice.
and it felt the whole room was quiet like mice.
he stood, hoping that he looked nice.
instead of a hello, it was a kiss.
true romance had finally hit.
