im not here to amuse you
im here to breath beneath my own wings
im not here to serve you
but here to observe you
to see beneath the scales that you call your life
this story behind your eyes
the ones with glowing doors
waiting to be opened to hear the growing lies.
and here you stand with me
waiting for me to kneel
to clean those dirty lies and to teach you how to feel
but i have a mind for me
to see this world inside my hands
to help deal with sorrow to help me learn to stand
so if you stand all alone
with your aching bone to bone
you will slowly burn to something we can see
but until that day comes
i will feel no sympathy
i will watch you shrink into something
only air can be.
