Oh Small Child

Oh Small Child

Tiny pink child.

You will go through so much pain.

In nine years you will cry out your parents names.

Nevermore will they be together or share the same name.

I have lived through your future.

You parents leave each other.

Tears on your books make the ink stray.

Pain on your face from a mother?s hand will sting.

Oh small child stay small.

Don?t listen to the other children?s taunts.

Just keep staring at the leaves in the trees.

Try not to cry on your books.

The pain outside will fade.

Inside it latches forever.
