Challenge 1 (Two Lovers on a Slippery Road)

As the lovers walked
hand in hand
along the wet slippery path
they talked of the future.
That's when they realized
that their love was like the leaves
on the autumn trees beside them.
It was changing,
and one day it would die and fall,
whisked away in the wind.
They would be torn apart,
have thier hearts broken,
souls ripped out.
But she looked at him,
eyes as blue as the river,
and she spoke.
"No matter what happens then,
I love you now.
Now is what matters,
and now you are mine."
He looked back,
and when their eyes met
a silent agreement was made.
Whatever the future held,
for now they were just
two lovers walking
hand in hand
on a wet, slippery path.
