This is a story about
Alberta Ray Jane
A girl who tried so hard,
but only got blamed.

She put on a play
with her face
with her acts
you would think nothing was wrong
she was that good of an actress

On the inside, her soul was being ripped apart
she was afraid to go to school.
Not the populars,
mean girls
or jocks she was afraid of
so don't call her a fool.

She was afraid of her own friends.
She hated their taunts
And she kept on her show,
It''s okay she said,
a better day will be tomorrow.

But better days never came,
for this girl critisism wasn''t the key.
She cried in her room,
so nobody would see.

So one day when she was home,
she found her fathers gun.
one pull.
The deed was done.

And nobody saw it come.

And the moral of the story
of Alberta Ray Jane
is that even if someone seems happy
It could be just a play.

Stereotypes: They kill people.
