Where Does Cat Go at Night?

Where Does Cat Go at Night?

We all see Cat in the day-
He plays and naps the hours away,
Sleeping on the floors of halls
And chasing after rubber balls.

But where does Cat go at night?
When sun goes down and bats take flight,
When day is done and we're in bed-
Where does Cat go instead?

Maybe he dons a cape and goes
To save the world from evil foes;
Returning before dawn's first light
After he has won the fight.

Or perhaps the jungle he explores,
Where tigers prowl and lions roar,
He blazes a trail, this brave kitty,
To find the ruins of a lost city.

Another place that Cat could be
Is deep beneath the big blue sea,
With flippers on his paws and tail
He watches out for sharks and whales.

Or perhaps Cat's got a rocket ship
And he zooms through space on a cosmic trip
To chase the tails of shooting stars
And be the first to set paw upon Mars.

Or maybe Cat's found a magical place
Beyond the realms of time and space,
With dragons and knights, magic and more-
But only he can unlock the door.

What is the secret that Cat keeps
Of where he goes while everyone sleeps?
That secret will always be kept well,
For only Cat knows and never will tell.
