Summer Cold

Summer Cold

I walked out side ready to sit under a shady tree with cool water underneath my feet, because it was so hot it felt as if the sun was so close to the earth, that you could touch it with a flat hand. I walked for what seemed about 15 minutes and I found my favorite tree sense six years of age. I set down and put my shoes that were in my hand on the doc and put my feet in the water, and stared at the sky. It must have been quite awhile cause when I came back to reality the sun was setting. The pink gently laid against the dark yet powdery blue sky that kinda changed orange in the center.I got up and began to head towards my house, when it came in sight I could hear my mother calling my name for dinner. I yelled back that I was coming, and started to walk even slower cause I felt this breeze, this breeze that I would never forget, because it was cool and it brushed against my pale skin and made the wind blow my curly black hair, my eyes shut and my rosy red lips found a smile. That cool breeze was slowly followed by a flake of snow on my cheek. And that was the summer it snowed and I felt alive and free.
