Angelesence Part Two

Robert is not sure if that lack of memory is a gift from the oldest sober angel. He suspects that it is so. He only recently names them sober angels. Before, sometimes for no reason, he just felt good. For the longest time, he wondered if it was because of that man the lady talked about so long ago in that Methodist Church basement. Maybe you know the one. The man that loved children and lambs and would look for even the most lost and reckless ones with their broken hearts. Today he calls that man Jesus and this Jesus is so magical, strong and wonderful that He
can absolutely forgive absolutely anyone absolutely all of their crimes against absolutely all of the universe.
Even though today is a very broken heated day with water endlessly coming out of Robert`s eyes, the sober angels brush his shoulder and whisper that he is very much loved. While the heart might not ever completely heal, the tears will slow and sometimes stop. Robert smiles because, once again, Jesus has sent the sober angels to him.
