The Irony of Life and Immortality

The Irony of Life and Immortality

Life is a strange thing
It is there, and then it diappears
Gone like the tail end of a comet
Deflated is the balloon of life, the needle being the object that severs it.
Life is a short thing.
It zooms by you quicker than a rainbow disappears.
It''s be much to painful for me to live eternal,
caught solemnly in the firm grasp of life.
Watching my loved ones go on before I.
Sensing the feeling that the allah has taken their souls to the afterlife.
Life isn''t but a
fragile butterfly.

***A.N- Impromtu poem; written as I thought.***

"When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." -Jimi Hendrix
